Data Engineer

RESONSIBILITIES

• Contributing to the platform's vision and architecture
• Creating scalable data solutions to support continued growth
• Contributing data workflows to support business and customer needs
• Ensuring that data quality and integrity is maintained across all services
• Deploying new solutions on AWS with infrastructure as code
• Contributing to a collaborative learning environment with an experienced team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• Demonstrable experience in software development, data engineering, or subject matter expertise in relevant field
• Demonstrable experience working with data at scale
• Proven ability to write readable and testable code (Python)
• Automated testing experience (unit and/or integration)
• Experience with automated CI/CD
• Experience with containerized application development is a plus (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• SQL experience is a plus
• Experience with Airflow is a plus
• Infrastructure as code experience is a plus
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• A good attitude and ability to learn quickly on the job
